I have been on an epic journey since 2006 to be blood brothers with 300 people, but since I have an issue with blood and cutting myself I decided the next best thing was to have 300 really super close facebook friends. Being Facebook friends is the next closest thing to becoming blood brothers. This whole quest sounds fairly narcissistic, but in a world where all hell has broken loose, poverty is running rampant, and an asteroid could kill us all at any second, the only real currency is friendship.
Why 300?
Through numerous mathematical trials, philosophical debates and obviously a little guidance by God, I have come up with the number 300 being the perfect number of friends. It is enough to say “hey, I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany,” but not too many friends where you are a complete friend whore and don’t value what you have or as I like to call it the Scrooge McDuck of friends if you know your Duck Tale metaphors.
I started a blog so people can track my progress. I currently am sitting at 299 and will probably lose a few friends in the coming hours due what people will later call an ‘unhealthy obsession with annoying people.” I also refuse to add a random just for the sake of ending my hunt, they must add me.
